EACS Entertainment and Connected services is responsible for the entertainment system in Volvo Group. Todays solution SEM is a ECU with connected to Radio, camera, USB voice and many other equipment.

It also have close connection to the Telematic gateway and the service platform of the truck that connects to the back office systems. This is a complex product with several application that should control function driven by us as well as implementing HMI for other vehicle functions such as Climate settings or drive time.

Today we are mainly focusing on building applications and relying on supplier to provide an ECU for our needs. We see a need to increase out knowledge of the system and platform in large, since many issues will not be happening on application layer but rather on how we use our system.

For this we need a senior expert Platform architect who knows android automotive and how to build system with it.

It is important that you are communicative and have deep knowledge, you should be able to support our system Architects in providing the right enablers. And give good insights in what a change in the system would mean. Hopefully you can also help us drive a sound culture where we use the best from all people.

We see you as the first person in what later may be a team that develops parts of the platform or provide valuable insights from POCs or similar.
