Software Architect skilled with Embedded Linux, Autosar and Qt

About Us

We are known by our safety and good quality of our products. To make the buses work, we develop complex software. We are now looking for a software architect who will be able to document all interfaces, identify any problems in our in-house software and solve it.

What you will do
At the Software Factory group, you will be one of our important team members who will take the software architecture role for the software we develop in-house. We develop software for 5 different ECUs (Electronic control units) that runs on different operating systems. 4 of them runs on Autosar based Vehicle Processor and the other one runs on Linux. As part of one of the teams we have, you will be a software architect for the Instrument cluster ECUs which are based on Vehicle Processor and Linux. Our instrument cluster is an interface to the core vehicle ECUs and infotainment System. As a software architect you will collaborate with different people to document the interfaces between the IC and infotainment system and identify any unknown issues that exit. You will also be able to support the developers in software design. The team you will join is a cross functional team which includes software developers, integration, and verification engineers.

Who you are.
You are someone who possess the following skills.
You have experience from embedded software development preferably C
You have experience from Linux system for embedded systems.
You have experiences with object-oriented language/s, QML or C++
Stomp knowledge is a plus.
You have Autosar experience.
Experience from inter-process communication is a plus.
You are expert in one of the version control tools preferably Git.
You enjoy evaluating existing solution and identifying issues.
You enjoy documenting relevant information related to the software and its interfaces.
You have good collaboration and communication skills.
Experience from the Automotive industry specially the Volvo Group is a plus.

Education required
Bachelor’s or master’s degree of Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
