At Volvo Autonomous Solutions (VAS), we are we are embarking on the initial stages of implementing an ERP platform to establish a robust foundation for the company's ERP capabilities. The fist step of this initiative entails the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to provide end-to-end financial management and procurement capabilities.

The project is focusing on the following key areas:

Financial Accounting, Control and Billing:

** Financial accounting processes based on best practice for the selected technology, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash and bank management, and fixed asset management. The organization will establish financial controls that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enable the reporting and analysis of the business profitability. We are also helping the organization to improve billing processes by automating the creation and management of invoices. 

Project Operations:

This involves configuring Dynamics 365 to manage project lifecycles, resource allocation, budget tracking, and project profitability analysis. 

Direct Procurement Capabilities:

Designing solutions to facilitate material procurement for long-haul transportation services, mining and quarry operations, including vehicles, machinery, spare parts, telecommunications, installations, and other site equipment. 

Indirect Procurement:

Developing and implementing the procure-to-pay process for indirect procurement of products and services. This involves creating procedures for requesting, approving, purchasing, receiving, and paying for goods and services not directly involved in the service rendered.

Inventory and Asset Management:

The ability to store and manage spare parts and other equipment that support our transportation services and ensure maximum uptime. This entails close collaboration with stakeholders to balance inventory levels, control and replenish systems and leverage existing service and parts networks.

In light of these objectives, we are seeking to onboard a Business Analyst with a specialization in procurement and asset management. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who possesses the necessary skill set and is eager to take on the challenge of designing the procurement process from scratch, infusing it with their unique perspective and leaving their mark on the final outcome. The consultant will work closely with the VAS and Volvo Group purchasing, finance and solution teams to ensure that the product aligns with their requirements and business processes, and provide training and support to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the implementation team providing fact-based analysis of the business and digital environment by utilizing information gathered from a variety of resources and channels.
- Conducting thorough analysis of business requirements and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating business needs into functional requirements for the ERP platform.
- Own and design the PTP processes for all procurement initiatives.
- The use data modelling practices to analyze findings and produce written documentation to support the work.
- Coordinate with, and manage multiple partners and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Providing training and support to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to the new ERP system, ensuring adoption and usability.

Competence Specification
- For this role we are looking for several years of experience within a similar position needing excellent business analytic skills such as requirements engineering combined with knowledge in business administration and supply chain.
- Experience working with ERP solutions, preferably MS Dynamics.
- Understanding of procurement core business processes and needs.
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
- Proficient in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
- Master verbal and written communication in English on a professional level, and prior work experience in an international context.
- As a person, you are enthusiastic, self-motivated and well-organized and enjoy working in a high pace environment.
