Explore ideas for product message and create 2D and 3D concepts, e.g., sketches, drawings, and visual artefacts, using the given inputs. As part of a multidisciplinary product design team create concepts and develop projects from idea through to production. Mainly within exterior design. At expert level, the employee is a recognized expert in Industrial Design. Typically obtained through advanced education (within Transportation design or Industrial design) and work experience within automotive industry design (position typically requires 10 years or more relevant experience).
- Experienced project lead and an established coach, mentor and educator to others in VGD.
- Known subject matter expert and a natural goto person for complex discipline related issues.
- Strong T-shaped profile (either building deeper discipline excellence or developing mature generalist toolbox)
- Known product owner, often contributing to project roadmaps/strategies within context of industry trends.
- Clear articulation of value creation by "joining up the dots" between their work and the TD/BA strategy. This posting requires location within the Gothenburg area, presence in the design studio 4-5 days a week.
