Description Analyze and apply knowledge on not fully given frames. Operational responsibility in the day-to-day work. Limited test scope. The product and procedures are given, however the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions of delivered test results. Resolve issues from the tests.
Additional specific info: Looking for a System Verification Engineer with a good engineering background and interest in SW verification and validation. Test automation experience is a merit.
The system under test is GDSP, a full stack application which is replacer of of Volvo’s main tool TechTool supporting workshop technicians in the Volvo Dealer network with programming, test, calibration and fault tracing of trucks.
The main focus in this position is to collaborate with Product owners and validate the application to make sure all looks good and work as intended from an end-to-end user perspective. We test directly on trucks as well as on product simulators and CANoe rigs. We are also using automated test suites for regression testing. Automotive knowledge is good to have.
