TEST ENGINEER DURABILITY
Would you like to be a key contributor to the transition to zero emission transports by securing the uptime for Volvos of world leading trucks? Then this might be something for you! The durability and Safety Testing team at Volvo are looking for an addition to the Durability Testing team.
THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES At Durability and Safety Testing, you will work alongside some of the most accomplished colleagues in the industry. Our team consists of durability test engineers, passive safety test engineers and one measurement engineer. We are all working towards the same goal – to make our customers satisfied. THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO As our Durability Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of durability tests, ranging from validation of components to subsystem. The tests will be performed at our internal durability laboratory. You will also be responsible for data acquisitions at vehicle level at the proving ground at Hällered.
You will also analyze and report identified concerns and work in close cooperation with design engineers, calculation engineers and feature engineers to improve the vehicle durability performance.

Preferred skills
• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience from durability testing within automotive industry
• Understanding of data acquisition systems for vehicle data collection
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
