"How do I contribute to make the SW release flow running smooth?" This is a key question working as a SW Baseline Manager within Vehicle Technology. We are now looking for a supportive, structured team-player to continue to build the Product Release & Documentation team within the Vehicle Software Factory organization.
The Product Release & Documentation team is responsible to secure the continuous deliveries of consistent and well documented embedded system releases towards our many different stakeholders, internally and externally. We shall also provide the GTT organization with the know-how on releasing SW, with quality assured documentation, that enables possible breakdown and installation in all appliable rigs and vehicles during development phases and towards our factories
and aftermarket releases.
We continuously strive to maintain and improve the operational SW release and SW documentation flow. This is what we want you to contribute to in your day-to-day work.

(sensors, actuators, etc.) in an embedded/automotive environment. We want you to have experience in working with se deliveries, perhaps on a component level and have a good understanding of functional development in automotive industry. To manage the work in a good manner we see that you should have an open mind for a changing surrounding and is willing to drive continuous improvements within the wide area of Product Release.
You need to be able to work with and maintain a large network of people contributing to building up our SW system platform. You shall be structured and thorough and have a positive attitude to teamwork. You enjoy working with complex matters while striving for order and simplifications.
We also have an expectation on us as a team that we should be able to coach and guide the teams delivering and releasing the individual ECU SWs. Thus, in the role it is expected that you contribute to develop instructions and guidelines as well as provide trainings and hands-on support when needed.
You will be part of a highly knowledgeable and supportive team
within Vehicle Software Factory, working closely to our skilled engineers through the GTT organization to improve both our products and work methods every day
Desirable experience

- SW Configurator
- KOLA
- JIRA
- Experience from working with embedded SW development and distributed automotive electrical systems
- Understanding of SW development tool chains
The Work Core activities are:

• Interact with the function and SW delivering teams to provide visibility on plans and scope and provide support to manage their deliveries
• Ensure the product documentation quality at System level
• Support and visualize the planning SW deliveries towards System baselines in terms of timing and content.
• Prepare basis for the release decision and documentation, in the shape of release notes, verification results, etc. to provide smooth handling in appropriate forums like Release Board.
• Interact with and provide information on status, scope, deviations on the SW platform towards internal GTT stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g. Production and Aftermarket)
• Participate in the work of continuous improvement to enable faster and more automated SW releases and deployment.
