We are looking for a Proactive, Positive and Technology driven Epic Leader in Thermal Management Technology Stream. Candidate will lead Epics / Capabilities within both Software, Hardware and Functional Development with main focus on Thermal Management systems for ICE, Battery- or Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. For this role, previous knowledge from Thermal Management development is a great merit. Work includes to lead complex technical development in a true X-functional surrounding. Thermal Management team develop components and systems for all Truck brands within the Volvo Group. Previous experience from leading Electrical, Electronics and Software development is a merit. Combination with Mechanical / Mechatronic development is seen as a merit. Previous Volvo experience in project management (PME / PM / Epic leader / System leader) is preferable. Previous experience from Agile development is preferable. Previous experience from development in Thermal Management is preferable. Plan, follow-up and deliver several complex Industrialization projects with multiple deliveries with major business impact, or multi-projects grouped together, often with other project managers delivering to the program, according to agreed scope, budget, time plan and quality (position typically requires 8 years or more relevant experience)Industrialization Project Management focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project in the manufacturing & industrialisation area including: �¢���¢Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. �¢���¢Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays �¢���¢Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project �¢���¢May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.Project Manager on Lead level is a specialist in industrialization project management typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 8 years or more relevant experience).
