The test site manager is overall responsible for the VAS activities in the quarry. This includes being the interface to the customer (mainly towards the quarry production manager), as well as partly planning and leading the work on site. As a representative for the Volvo Group, a key responsibility is making sure that the work carried out is done so in a safe manner, carefully considering safety practices and instructions that apply. Examples of work tasks: - Performing daily safety briefings and risk assessments - Leading weekly testing planning meetings - Participating in customer meetings - Day-to-day troubleshooting and problem solving The work day starts in the quarry at 13.00 and extends until daily targets are completed, typically around 22.00. Work week starts on Monday, and ends on Saturday evening. Travelling out is done on Monday morning, travelling home on Sundays. The test site manager is expected to stay 2 weeks in a row on site.
